Day 285 finds our unnamed gym rat seeking refuge in the weights room, away from the world's noise. He strips down to his compression shorts, the scent of rubber and sweat filling the air. With a grunt, he begins his routine, the clank of iron against iron echoing his rhythm. His muscles ripple and glisten under the harsh fluorescent lights, a symphony of power and control. Each lift sends a surge of endorphins through him, a temporary escape from life's demands.
