In the dimly lit, traditional Hmong home, siblings Lahj and his sister Nkaug share a secret language, their eyes betraying their unspoken, forbidden desires. As they help their mother prepare dinner, their hands brush, igniting a spark. Later, under the guise of sharing stories by the fireplace, they steal glances at each other, Lahj's gaze lingering on Nkaug's curves, her breath hitching as she catches him. Their bodies yearn for each other, but the weight of their culture and family keeps them at bay, leaving them in a dance of longing and denial.
