Unplugged: Boy's Private Ballad

In the hushed silence of his room, the boy begins to play. His fingers, nimble and sure, caress the strings, bringing forth a symphony of longing. The guitar's body presses against him, a poor substitute for the warmth he craves. His eyes flutter closed, imagining hands other than his own, a mouth other than his own, a body other than his own. The music swells, a crescendo of desire, and he can't help but grind against the instrument, seeking friction, seeking release. The music ends abruptly, his body tense, on the precipice, yearning for the final, glorious note.
