The dimly lit streets of Santo Domingo come alive with the pulsating rhythm of Bouzn, an ancient Haitian dance that has been passed down through generations. The participants, a mix of locals and curious tourists, move as one, their bodies undulating to the primal beat of the drums. The dance starts slowly, a sensual sway of hips and a sultry roll of shoulders, but as the night progresses, the movements become more intense, more explicit. The air is thick with the scent of sweat and sex as the dancers, now naked and uninhibited, give in to their most primal desires, the boundaries between them blurring as they lose themselves in the rhythm of the dance.
