Lucile Adjoa Scofield presents an unapologetic exploration of Ghanaian twerk culture. The camera lingers on toned, dark thighs and full, bouncing asses, as the dancers work their hips with unbridled enthusiasm. The dance floor is a sweaty, writhing mass of bodies, the air filled with the smack of flesh on flesh and the primal cries of pleasure. The twerkers, lost in the moment, grind and hump the air, their movements a graphic celebration of their sexual freedom.
